Maroon 5: Sad Meaning
Sad Lyrics
Stuck thinking 'bout it driving on the freeway
Wondering if I really tried everything I could
Not knowing if I should try a little harder
Oh, but I'm scared to death
That there may not be another one like...

#1 top rated interpretation:This song is about breaking up with person who you really love. Adam is singing that he is scared and not sure if there is another person like last one who can gives him THAT kind of emotions. While they broke up he pretend that he was okay, but he wasn`t and all of the weakness emotionaly is spilling out of him

I think he's singing about a friend who committed suicide. He's stuck wondering if he could have helped his friend if he only know what he was going through
-
I felt like it was about him not able to help his friend who killed their self.

this song is about a man who is not sure if he really loves the girl she is dating like for example he talked of how he is not able say the things that she needs to hear the girl loves the girl too bad but the guy does not feel the same way. he is sad only because he has to break the girl's heart

This song reflects my life a lot. I see this song about a boy that loves his best friend or his crush but she has a boy friend and he never got to tell her his true emotions and now it is too late because she is happy in a relationship and there is nothing to do except sit back and wait. It is all that is on his mind, and hes scared that she is the only one that he needs.
