All Things Go Lyrics

Yo, I had to reinvent, I put the V in vent
I put the heat in vents, man I been competin' since
I look beyond what people sayin', and I see intent
Then I just sit back and decipher, what they really meant
Cherish these nights, cherish these...

I love the way she can put all her feelings and her history in this one song. She is truly very GOOD at what she does. The first time I played this song I cried for real now this song is really sad.

She feels like that is something she could have done in the past to help her family and become closer with them and blames it on herself for the consequences that have happened so she’s letting them know how she feels. She’s also discussing the matter of time with “ all things go “ that time isn’t always a blessing. She talks about her upbringing about the aborting she perused which also relates to the time and how things weren’t right. From my point of view she feels like she got too caught up in following her dreams and didn’t not pay much attention the drama going on around her. The line “ I pop a pill and remember the look in his eyes the last day he saw me “ gives us a sense that she has to pop a pill to to remember the last memory’s she had with them - Bradley braithwaite

The artist is rectifying the past. She feels that she is the reason (death of her cousin, her unborn child and ending of her relationship) and has to pop pills whenever the thought comes. She feels that she abandoned her family by pursuing dreams, but she also blames it on the time & amends.
