   To be completely honest, I think that this song is about loving someone but not being sure that they love you back. It could also be about sharing ones feelings for another and figuring out how to get through it together.

   I think it's about staying with love even when it hurts you. Like 'priest thinks it's the devil, my mum thinks it's the flu, but girl it's only you', it makes sense, right?? He's been hurt by the girl to the point where he wanted to die, but he loves her so he stays with her. hurt as in she broke his heart.

   I think this song is about choosing to love someone you have real feelings for even if you have to fight for it. It's a letter to the person that L loves, saying to be strong.

   Even though this person knows he loves them, they want to ignore it and their own feelings for L because it's a love that they have to walk mountains for. After all of the partying, this person is the one L loves through everything.

   When I read this, I thought of Venus and Adonis. Venus said Adonis's eyes set her on fire, she would be dead from the heavenly and the earthly sun if she wasn't immortal. But Venus's love was unrequited - she jumped in and gave all of herself to Adonis even though it can be frightening when you can't be with the one you love.

   After L dated so many people and tried to take his mind off the one he loved, he finally realized this person was "the one" and all of the distractions were mistakes he made.

   The night is a metaphor for their relationship. L and the other person both kind of knew it was over, but L finally realized he should be strong and love the one he was meant to love. He said he'll love them forever, then they broke up with him and L was heartbroken 20 minutes later.

   Okay, here's the deal. Louis wrote this song. As a Larrie, I believe that this is about Louis and Harry's relationship. Not to mention that the song says "All I know at the end of the day is you love who you love, there ain't no other way." And it also says "and you'll follow your heart even though it'll break sometimes. " And the lyrics "If there's something I've learned from a million mistakes, you're the one that I want at the end of the day." And if there's anything we've learned from Louis' songs and Harry's songs and even when they were still in the band together is that they've had a bit of a rocky relationship because of the management and S*mon Cowbell. So in conclusion, this song was written about Larry.
