I Want Lyrics

Give you this, give you that
Blow a kiss, take it back
If I look inside your brain
I would find lots of things
Clothes, shoes, diamond rings
Stuff that's driving me insane

You could be preoccupied
Different date, every night
You just...

I think it's about this girl being in a relationship with this boy only because he buys her clothes and fasion and whatever she wants, and she's being spoilt. it drives the guy crazy because she doesn't love him for who he is.

this is my favourite song on the album, and i love it because it has a true meaning and a lot of girls are like this and i find it annoying too and i'll never be like that ever in my life.

    LUV YOU 1D :)

His girlfriend is dating him for money so that she can get what she wants. He finds out about it and brakes up with her.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

it means that some girls want it all..clothes, shoes, diamond rings..but they still want to be loved. Its talking about a spoiled girl who wants to be loved even though the relationship is "you give me more, i love you more". The line "stuuf thats driving me insane" shows how big of a turn-off materialism is. Boys hate the I Want It All factor

Its about how they they dont like girls who rely on materials because nothing can give you love but well.. love. But now that line in zayn's part 'you want you want you want me to love you too.' indicates that she really does want love.

This song talks about how girls only want materials and don't realize what they really have with a guy. My favorite sentence is “If I changed the world for you I bet you wouldn't have a clue” because a guy can do only so much, but were so obsessed with “clothes, shoes, and dimond rings” that we slowly push them away without knowing we are. This song has meaning to me because I don't want to be that girl.
It's basically about them singing about how they don't like materialism, and how it's a turn-off having girls requiring items as a symbol for their love. Like, the guy that gives me the most, is the one who loves me the most.
Her love for his boyfriend depends on how many or what is the cost of all the things he's giving to her.

its just about a girl who depends on her boyfriend to buy her everything and she really just cant seem to be satisfied with anything he gives her and she pretty much only likes him for his money so its basically talking about a gold digger who cares about no one but herself and material as when harry say "if i look inside your brain i would find lots of things clothes shoes diamond rings"

From the outside, it seems like girls only want material things and that only that makes them happy
but in reality, they need and want love
the boys are saying how they can't stand materialism and they know the girls just want to be loved.

I think its about someone who wants them to love her but doesnt show much appreciation towards them and goes out with a load of other people.....
