Paramore - Franklin Meaning

Franklin Lyrics
I know we won't be home at all
this place we live
it is not where we belong
and I miss who we were
and the town we could call our own
going back to get away after
everything has changed
everything has changed...
-
My own interpretation for this song is that it kind of nostalgic, that Hayley (and probably her childhood sweetheart or anyone in her hometown) remembers everything that happened in her town, from where she started, the unforgettable moments that seemed like it never existed.
-
very obvious that they miss thier home alot (franklin) but not only do they miss it it will never be the same for them now that they are somwwheat famous everyone will know who they are and probably be pushovers.
-
This song is about their hometown {Franklin, Tennesse}
Not only is it about how they miss their hometown but how when they come back to visit, nothing is the exactly the same.
I'm sure being on the road is stressful and to come home and find out the nieghbor you've known all you life moved away or whatnot and little susie died in a car crash doesn't help you fully relax. -
This song is about the bands home town (Franklin) and how they miss it.
