To me, it almost has the same meaning as Vermillion by Slipknot. Like, a man raping a girl (make it painful, painfully quick- right after "lay her down as priest does") then the guilt and shame driving him to suicide.
I could be totally wrong though. -
It’s about battling your own instincts on love, and being faithful.
