   This is about the lobster industry on the East coast, and the was promised to them and the losses and hardship they are going through.
   We are searchlights lights...fisherman on the dark water with the lights of their boats.
   We are rockets pointed up to the stars....the beacon of the northern star guiding them, the boats travel o. The horizon pointed to the stars.
   We are Billion beautiful hearts....are the fish in the sea looking upwards that remain.
   The reference to the river are the specific salmon struggling to get to their spawning olacewe they began.

   Wow...I've been trying to figure out the meaning of this song for weeks. If nothing else Pink has definitely gotten our minds racing...I would love to hear her interpretation. Regardless it is a hauntingly beautiful song added to my Playlist.

   As a Canadian, I think about our First Nations peoples. All of the promises that have been made to them, from the first time white folk arrived on our shores... and all of the ways in which we have broken the trust and promises over the hundreds of years. And, btw, I am not First Nations, I'm caucasian.

    Definitely about god, what his promised, also pink was , and correct me if I'm wrong, in the church choir, she has a Christian background, I think it also speaks to the LGBT community, we are billions of beautiful hearts, we are all connected threw love, love for one another binds us, his meant to be our creator, god, who loves us, all equally, yet, the LGBT community still struggles bcos of Christian beliefs, it's a song asking god, what about us, the ones that are still here, stop this horrible system we live in, if your there help, stop the hate filled world we live in, we all love, yet there's still so much hate
