Ashtray Heart Lyrics
Mi corazón, mi cenicero
X2
You are the birth and you are waste
You are the one who took my place
You took a jump into forever
A leap of faith I could not take
And it was
A leap of faith I could not take
A...

i agree with the relationship interpretation, it sounds as though the guy met a girl who was alone and fell in love with him when he wanted to have funhe didnt know it was something meaningful because he could not take that leap at the time. i only assume it was a male cause the last verse lead me to believe he was referring to taking her virginity (making the bed sheets red)

I think this is the story of a relationship, which ended because one asked the other more than he/she was ready or wanted to give("it was a leap of faith I could not make, a promise that I could not make"). That one was alone and desperate before meeting the other, but when they found each other they were happy...but everything was ruined from the one, who asked too much.
I don't know if it's right...if you could explain better than this...that would be great!
