Placebo: Because I Want You Meaning

Because I Want You Lyrics
When i hit the bottle, coz I'm afraid to be alone.
Tear us in two, is all it seems to do..
As the anger fades, this house is no longer a home,
Don't give up on the dream, don't give up on the wanting,...

This song is about a guy who falls for a girl, gets drunk, loses the girl because of his drinking, and then finds a way to fall for her again(maybe even convince her for another chance?). The girl doesn't think that he loves her back and its all just a dream. "As the headache fades this house is no longer a home" might mean that he realizes he screwed up now that its the next day and he's sobered up(with a hangover). But basically the songs about his alcohol and losing the girl b/c of it. (stumble into you...my memory's hazy...) that's just what I got out of the song though!
This was pretty self explanatory...but maybe that 1% chance that I was the only one who got it was right!
