Dance This World Away Lyrics

Everybody looks so spaced out there

Busy blowing to the priests of noise.
Turn it up and make it drown out the warning

Bad news for the girls and boys.
Everybody looks so romantic

Acting like it's nothing at all.
Looking out for...

Wow. I remember this song from some 30 years ago. All looking like Nero... The things I know about that guy today. He burned Rome in 66AD and kill my ancestors in Judea. We are awakening in the USA! Yes, we are the so called African-Americans

This song is a protest to the crappy way we treat and manage out world. It is really true, about how everything looks so romantic, yet it is all just an illusion.

I interpret the first line as either we are all so drugged out that we can't recognize what we live in, or maybe we are brainwashed, or just trying to get by by staying in our happy-places and just not trying to see what is happening.

This is a 60's protest song. I've always been very stressed out about the way we're f*ing up the world. I wrote the song and Tim Pierce added the chorus riff. That was my favorite video of that time. It was pretty out there what David Fincher came up with for it.
