   I think this song can represent multiple thing. To me this represent loss because I’ve connected it with the loss of my baby sister last year but I think this can also represent not having as much time for someone as you would like. It could represent a long distance relationship, loss or not having enough time for someone. I think this can be interpreted many different ways. Whatever situation you can connect this to is what the song means for you. There is really no right or wrong way to interpret this song. X

   I'm INC a long distance relationship and honestly I feel like this song can also be translated into a song about a long distance relationship, but if you go by the music video then I would say that a lot of these other comments are correct. Really it could be anything. In my head the song makes more sense towards a long distance kind of thing but only bc I'm in a long distance relationship so really it's just what the lyrics speak to you.

   Every time I hear "Never Be Alone" I start crying because I know some things I'll never get to talk about because I already missed my chance once. That song really makes me think about my past and my regrets. I spend a lot of time listening to that song and every single time I end up feeling brokenhearted.

   i think never be alone is written about his sister aalyiah, he wrote it when he started touring and he really misses her 'when you fall asleep tonight just remember that we lay under the same stars'.
   so basically its about missing an important person in your life because youre busy.

   I think this song means whatever you want it to be. For me I feel like it talks about the loss of a loved one or no being able to be with friends. This song hits hard for me right now because I lost a friend back in 2018 and In April I lost my grandma. So this song helps me remember that they may be far but never gone

   I think this song is about someone or some people back in Pickering that Shawn misses, but he wants them to know he will always be with them in their heart even if he's all the way in Japan performing, he is always with them and they will never be alone.

    i believe this song was wrote for Aaliyah before his first world tour as when they were younger, Shawn and Aaliyah were very close. a coping song for her to comfort her when Shawn is away for long periods of time.

    Um how do I even start. My grandma passed away a few months ago and I don't show my emotions very much but this song makes me cry because I interpret it as loosing someone but I believe it could also be associated with long distance relationships. Personally for me though it speaks for the loss of someone you love.

    I really related to losing some I lost. My mother. She didn't want to die... it was cancer. Anyways I missed her insanely one day and this song began playing out of no where, if you can listen through another perspective of a person you lost. You can hear them singing this song to you. I felt my mom was telling me ... the piece of (my)her heart was referring to me. We are under the same starts ... she's still part of it... she knew we had words to say, but she couldn't stay.

    Actually i dont think so. I think this song means that sometimes you are just so busy because of your work, school, travelling or whatever, that yoyu can't be with the people you love as much time as you would like to. Maybe sometimes you want to be with your family but you can't because you already have things to do, things you cant change, so its impossible, and because of that you start missing the people you love

    For me, this song really touches me. I moved to another state and by siblings stayed home. I miss them terribly and this song make us cry like babies when we hear it. I know that they are always here for me even if I don't see them there. I love the saying," friends are like stars. You don't always see them but you know there always there."

    It is about about a boy who is really busy with work or stuff in general that requires him to be away. The girl and him have something important they have to talk about. The girl clearly doesn't want him to leave, but he has to, but he says, "take a piece of my heart and make it all your own." So he'll be with her whenever he isn't physically there. He later on says, "when you fall asleep tonight, remember we lay under the same stars." This means though we are far, I will always be there for you.
