   I think the song is about a girl who's been let down by her love, but deep inside she wants to forgive him - even if she feels like it's wrong because he doesn't really deserve this - so she's letting him another chance to get her love back.
   Taylor says: "I'll leave my window open/cause I'm too tired tonight to call your name/Just know I'm right here hopin'/That you come in with the rain.
   The meaning of the song is that when you love someone,you can't help but forgiving them, even if they let you down, even if they don't deserve you, even if they hurt you, and you can't stop hoping that they will come back in your arms.

   She wants him back..and shes "leaving her window open", basicly shes opening herself up to having him come back.
   She "could go back to every laugh"
   She can re-live every memory like it was yesterday...but it hurts..maybe she messed up. maybe she regrets it.
   Shes changed and he doesnt know her anymore..
   She misses him,and hopes he will "come in with the rain" basicly meaning please come back espically when its raining on my little world...
   Atleast thats how i want him to see it...

   I think this is about a girl who has liked a boy for a long while, " i have you down, i know you by heart, and you dont even know where i start" Who doesnt notice,, or feel the same way. (trust me i've been there) and she decides that shes done chasing him around and trying to get his attention. But she still loves him and if he decides to come to the realization he loves her too, she'll always be there. And she is hoping that he does.

   She's in love with someone whom she once had, or someone she used to have around. However, it seemed like they were only playing a game going nowhere. She states that she could go ahead and make things right with him, but she's fed up of doing it.

   I see it as, there is a girl in a relationship and she has been feeling let down by him and is probably feeling like he doesnt care about her and she's tired of trying to remind him why he is with her and why they are in love so she is waiting for him to make her feel loved again in their relationship and is waiting for him to realize on his own why he is in love with her and why he wants their relationship to work. She doesnt want to have to try anymore because she wants him to try. "I'm too tired tonight to call your name" but she wants him to do it on his own "I'll leave my window open" and "Just know I'm right here hoping you'll come in with the rain". He needs to realize what is going on and fix it on his own.

   I've always felt this song is about a friendship more than a relationship. I think the line "talk to the man with the reasons why" could be referring to a friend who has gotten her heart broken so badly that she even begins ignoring her best friends so she says talk to the boy who hurt you don't keep asking me type thing.

   I think this is a song about a boy who 'plays games' with her, meaning that he pretends to love her, when he really doesn't, or vice versa. Despite that, she still loves him, but doesn't want to be the one chasing after him, so she'll step back and let him come to her. (I'll leave my window open, cause I'm too tired at night for all these games, just know I'm right here hoping, that you'll come in with the rain)

   I think that this song is a song about a boy who she liked, but he played games with her, acting like he loved her one minute, and not the next, so she's backing off until he can get his priorities straight with where who he wants.
   
   First verse - she is reminiscing about him, saying that she COULD easily go back to the things they had before, but she knows it's not the best idea.
   
   Chorus - she's saying that she's tired of trying to make their love work, so she's going to back off, but still leave a tiny sliver of hope left open for him, and hope that he comes to her
   
   Verse two - (I could stand up and .. But I don't wanna have to go that far) she means that she could go and tell him how she really feels in hope that he'll love her, too, but she doesn't want to have to go that far, he should come to her
   
   (I've got you down ... Don't wait for the sky to clear) she means that she has obviously loved him for a while, and he doesn't really know her at all, but if he feels the same way, don't wait for a perfect time to tell her, say it now
   
   Verse three - pretty self explanatory, she wants him alot

    ... I never really imagined the song being about a boy because it reminds me a lot of a friend that just kind of left me for no reason.
