The chorus is about god and how he let so many people die. the first verse is about a girl who had a fight with her parents and is walking to school, then the attack happens and one of her parents are killed. the second verse is about a man who is flying home to see his family but he is in one of the planes that is involved in the attack. the bridge is just generally happened and the last part is how Taylor felt about it all
