Taylor Swift: ...Ready For It Meaning
...Ready For It Lyrics
Taylor Swift
Knew he was a killer first time that I saw him
Wonder how many girls he had loved and left haunted
But if he's a ghost, then I can be a phantom
Holdin' him for ransom
Some, some boys are tryin' too hard
He don't...

#1 top rated interpretation:Taylor Swift speaks about something similar to what she sang on “I Knew You Were Trouble” single from 2012 album ‘Red.’ Whoever this person is, Taylor Swift know he is up to no good. “Killer” in this context means a killer of hearts, which is confirmed in the next line where Taylor is wondering how many girls he has been with and left them broken hearted. In the pre-chorus of “Ready For It?,” Taylor Swift is looking into the future of this relationship. Much like “I can see the end as it begins…” from “Wildest Dreams” from ‘1989’ album, Taylor Swift kind of thinks this relationship will go downhill. She knows she is getting involved with a heartbreaker… Taylor Swift is already dreaming about her relationship with this bad boy. Taylor does not hold back trying to hook him up with sex. She directly says “he would enjoy the things they would do in the middle of the night…” For now, she has to be satisfied with seeing him in her dreams, because as said earlier “he doesn’t try at all” to be with Taylor. Taylor Swift calls herself a stealer of hearts in the second verse of “…Ready For It?” single. The singer is saying she has been making men fall for her and throwing them away. Her “long list of ex-lovers” from “Blank Space” stands proof to this. Taylor is not sorry that she is not with them at the moment.

"I, I, I see how this is gon' go
Touch me and you'll never be alone
Island breeze and lights down low
No one has to know"
The pre-chorus, long story short, basically means if a particular man (IDK who he is, sorry.) touches Tay Tay, he'll never be alone. They'll run away to an island and keep the lights down low so nobody knows about the relationship.
"Baby, let the games begin
Let the games begin
Let the games begin
Baby, let the games begin
Let the games begin
Let the games begin"
Tay Tay puts on her status on gaming mode, and is getting ready to start dating again, she comes up with 'getting someone' in a way that cares too much for making relationships hard and not enough for making good ones possible. -

I think this song is about being in a relationship with someone else’s they deserved the accomplishment for this I would pray about relationships.

I really have this working to be out of this songwriting, I’ve been writing since about 15 years old. I’ve never hadn’t been recording too.
-
The song is very emotional, because ready for it is such a great song to perform on the stage.

I think for this song I really like how they created a mermaid, Charles had some couple things from his mom.
Yeah, I really liked this song that really meant to be, their new singles, but we’re blessed to have this record and listening to it.
I think I’m believing this album to us, we’re better to have people other than possibly could. We’ve never went to Taylor swifts new stage. -

Basicly this song is about Tay Tay meeting a boy (Joe, we assume) and despite the rumors and the past, and she's pretty much saying "take me on!"

"knew he was a killer, first time that i saw him, wonder how many girls he had loved and left haunted" means she is wondering how many girls he has cared about or loved. "some boys are trying too hard, he don't try at all though, younger than my exes but he act like such a man so' means her exes tried to be the perfect bf for her, but he doesn't have to. he is also more mature than her exes. and the rest of the lyrics just mean that Taylor thinks she is going to be perfect for him and he will be perfect for her and nothing is going to interfere on the relationship.
