Taylor Swift: Red Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Red Lyrics
faster than the wind, passionate as sin ended so suddenly
loving him is like trying to change your mind once you already flyin’ through the free fall
like the colors of autumn so...

#1 top rated interpretation:This song is about a girl who used to love a boy. The part about the mozerati describes that she loved this beautiful boy but she knew it would come to end.In the chorus we discover that no matter what she cant forget him because she loves him so much . I think that red symbolizes fire which can warm u and light a house but it can also burn you . She got both experiences. This guy seems complecated. The part about fighting basically gives away how the relationship ends in a tragic fight im assuming this guy has a raging temper but passion. This is why she cant forget him because she loved the mystery of him and she regrets letting go of the relationship.

Like a story, Red by Tylor Alison Swift tells a love story in a poetic tone and form which makes it easily read as one. This song scripts a narrative about a girl who at first used to love a girl. The love she had to the boy is compared to a Maserati which is a facncy and expensive car. However thius love was deep and strong like red color, she knew that the love would come to an end. The guy that the girl loves is more of comploicated and thus ushers in the fighting section of the narrative. It is a captivating narrative that will entirely capture the audience’s attention thus can be read out as poetic to the audience

In this song,a girl is describing her broken love story. The first two lines shows that their relationship was doomed from the beginning.Like the Maserati driven through a dead end,it was fast but it was meant to crash and burn. The third line shows that it was like free fall, she had no control over it and there was no other choice available than to continue falling.Their love was like the colours in autumn-the leaves are bright and beautiful but they're going to fall and leave the tree bare.
The next few lines convey feelings in terms of colours and what they symbolize. The colour blue shows depression and grey shows melancholy.Losing him caused a kind of depression she never felt before.Missing him made her very melancholic.Forgetting him was impossible, like trying to remember someone you never met before. But loving him was red;red is a colour that symbolizes passion, desire, intensity, love and danger.Their love was passionate, intense and dangerous. It was too strong and too bright and too consuming.
I am a lazy person and so I'm leaving the rest of the interpreting to you.I love this song. -

This is about a girl falling in love with a guy that she really loves but the guy never loved her and left her after pretending that he liked her. The girl tries to move on from him but moving on from him is impossible when she can see it in her head.

When you love someone like no one else. The only man in your entire life, from age 15 to now. Then they die. You can't get them back. That is the dark gray. You have someone so wonderful like a new maserati but down the dead end street you know you will never have it again when it is over. Like free falling.

Its just a song about how a relationship was sooo great and when everything is going really well it all came to an abrupt end. and now its hard for her to forget him.
