Taylor Swift: Shake It Off Meaning
Song Released: 2014
Shake It Off Lyrics
I stay up too late, got nothing in my brain
That’s what people say, that’s what people say
I go on too many dates, but I can’t make them stay
At least that’s what people say, that’s what people say
[Pre-Chorus]
But I keep...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:Taylpr is basically saying that you should ignore everyone that is bothering you. For her they are the haters. She is telling us/you that you just need to keep your mind of all the people that are criticizing you or just being mean to you and well "shake it off."
-
2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:You don't have to be talented to do what you love; it's okay if you don't fit in, and if you're bullied or teased for that, just shake it off :)
-
3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:Just do what you want even when people say you are crap.
-
This song it all about not caring what other people think of you and to feel free to do whatever you want without caring what others think of you.
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
It's about haters don't like you but you just gotta shake it off
-
Thr hidden message itself will be the best meaning of this song "SHE DANCED TO FORGET HIM"
-
The insults she gets just roll right off of her. Its like she's dancing and dosn't care who sees her or what they think.
-
Expiring to everyone who is being bulled! I should know we have lots in my school.
It can be annoying after a while! -
Its about how everyone shouldn't listen to the bullies and just ignore the haters. By shaking the hateful comments off their mind
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
Anything people say or do about me, Taylor Swift lets it slip off her.
-
This song inspire to believe what I want and do what I want and no let the rude people being my down because im strong than they think
-
What I like about this song is that when Taylor is saying she doesn't care what ppl think, she doesn't hide it in lyrics that could mean a dozen different things. She's literally being herself, not making you guess if that's what she means or not. Also, is it possible to not dance to this incredibly long song? Or at least head bop? The only song I don't mind being stuck in my head, because it's a truly good song!
-
She doesn't give a fuck
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
Have more fun than the haters.
