The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus: Misery Loves It's Company Meaning
Misery Loves It's Company Lyrics
It's true, we are
we are destined to fail
It's true, we are
we are destined to fail
There is a problem here with our society
The absence of my tears is my sobriety
I have a growing fear and...

It would be hard to go on without help. I have a growing fear and you're not helping me. It's like he has had people not help him with his problems emotionally that he's like I can do this by myself and then just gives up on himself. It's on the Saw soundtrack so what does that tell ya.

It's true, we are destined to fail".i think this song is saying there is no way to survive in this society we have created for ourselves. our society is so messed up. "there is a problem here with our society. The absence of my tears is my sobriety"- he's kinda given up on the human race. he's done 'crying' about it. "I have a growing fear and you're not helping me. am I the only one who realizes it's true?" everyone else is just kinda brushing off our problems. "beat but I'm not broken. guide me through with your hand. lead with your words spoken. Show me how to listen" this world will beat you down but just get back up and try to fix it. Help each other through life because we can't do it alone. Say what you have to say and teach us all how to listen to what your saying. "you're persecuting me. Showing hypocrisy. I have a remedy for your insecurity." our society is so hypocritical. we can play the blame game but we can't accept that we're the exact same way. "it's all the same sadly. nobody works for free. am I the only one who realizes it's true?" we revolve around money. It runs our lives unfortunately. greed is BAD! "(chorus again) let your'e light shine through me. Take this hate I can't release. Help me make the blind see. misery loves it's company" let the light of God shine into our sin darkened world. Help us be forgiving and not violent. Help me to help teh rest of the world. "when I dream I see dawn turn into dusk" when I dream of the world being a better place my bright dreams turn to dark nightmares. this is just my interpretation of this song. I don't know for a fact what the literal meaning to this song is.

I think this song is about the problems with society. Everyone is so wrapped up in themselves and it seems like you're the only one who gets the bad side of it and knows it. The world is full of hate and it sort of sounds like they're talking/even praying to God or something. They say to keep strong and this kind of society will fail. "When I sleep, I dream dawn turns to dusk" means, he dreams that the beginning of this way of life will end soon. You're not the only one who is miserable in this society.
