The song is about a girl who is despised by everyone else but she is already so far ahead of them because of the "fire in her eyes" and in the chorus, the lead singer basically urges her to keep going and never look back. And then in the second verse the singer basically talks about you the listener and motivates you through the chorus.

The song was wrote by ronnie for his friend who has a good voice but doesn't look like a plastic teen idol so isn't making it into the music industry.....Sad but it's cute how they wrote a song about it for her.
