The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus: Waiting Meaning
Waiting Lyrics
for all the things you had to steal and borrow.
Bring back the days we had before tomorrow
relapse and then collapse into yourself once more.
Waiting for this life to change seems like it's taking me forever
and I can't hold...
-
Well, I think there is a problem between a couple, he wants to "Bring back the days we had before tomorrow relapse and then collapse into yourself once more." It makes me think that there is something wrong with the girl, maybe medical, maybe just personality-wise, that wasn't there before. The guy then has such a problem and is getting so angry that he needs medication "the doctor tells me to relax and stand still, prescribes me a new pill to quell my anger". "Wish I could make her pull herself off the floor. Either means that she has a sickness and fainted or is weak, or (most likely) means that he beat her and regrets it (that would also tie in with Face Down, like the other side of the story). He's just "waiting for his life to change, seems like it's taking me forever", because he's not trying had enough, or she's not gettin better. There are two completely different ways to look at it.
