   This song no lie has me in tears. It's like she is writing and singing my life. This song to me feels like you find someone that your so deeply inlove with, and things dont work out the way you wanted and once they have moved on and happy your still stuck in this slump of being unhappy. I feel as if she has given everything and the two of them were so happy together and when it ended, she was pushed away and when she come back she found that he has moved on and was happy. As hard is it for her to go through seeing him being happy as ever, she just wants what is best for him. She doesnt want him to ever forget her. She understands that sometimes love is forever between 2 people, and sometimes is is nothing but heart ache. Either way, this woman is Genius! :)

   Although they have gone their separate ways, have both moved on & he is clearly happy, there is a huge part of her that wants to try again. She doesnt want him to forget her either, but it would be an insult to the memories that they once shared.
   She loves him enough to want him to be happy though, even if it means that it is not with her & it kills her forever knowing this.

   I think she talking about a past relationship she cant close and in her heart is not 'over' and 'turns up' hoping to may rekindle it but he is settled down with someone else and she wishes him all the best although her heart is broken and hopes she will meet someone else the same and as lovely as he was

   I think she's talking about a past relationship,
   how she still had feelings for him but he moved on, and she still wants him,then she say's never mind ill find someone like you,,so she knows shes gonna find someone like him,,she just doesn't want him to forget her,,and how sometimes love will last but sometimes it just causes hurt when one person is still in love someone who doesn't love them the same way.

   I think it's about how you and an ex partner may be best friends but you just don't work as a couple. You always have some love towards them but there is still some hurt feelings. You still 'wish nothing but the best' because you still love them and want them to succeed. Well that's my interpretation.

   She's in my view singing about a broken relationship that either they tried to mend or maybe should have tried harder and didn't and she regrets now yet has moved on but not gotten over it.
   
   I think she's trying to say sometimes the love goes on forever together or it just hurts forever for one person, but that's the problem with having one person on a pedestal.
