Sing Me To Sleep Lyrics
-
The lover is heartbroken and wants to die peacefully.
-
This somewhat reminds me of death? Like, a lot said this, but a specific one. I was relating this to my own story, (this is half fiction. After all, this is a story that I wrote based on my experience.) So, a girl's loved one is dead. So she's miserable, But her loved one is telling her just to let him go. (Sorry. I got pretty dark after my grandfather died.)
-
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
the lullaby that will be sung isn't the one that will not be mentioned in the yesterday that isn't mentioned. so, isn't this the lullaby?
-
Many people think this is about death but I feel like it’s after a breakup. She still misses him, even though the relationship didn’t work out.
-
I think that Sing me to sleep is about a person whose lover is no longer by the person's side. The line "Our memories will be my lullaby" means that she will make their memories together be her lullaby (along with the next line "Sing me to sleep now") and will be the one to "sing" her to "sleep"(means that she will always remember and treasure their memories.
-
I think it is about a family member that died and he is only left with memories of that person so he is asking the ghost to sing him to sleep so he could be with him/ her...
-
I think the song is about someone who's boyfriend/girlfriend died and their are thinking of times together. But he/she just want's it to be the end, so their asking the ghost of their boyfriend/girlfriend to sing them to sleep
-
I feel that Sing Me To Sleep is about someone who's boyfriend/girlfriend said they no longer lover him/her and this was really sad for them. I think they always are imagining the good times they had together.
