All Time Low: Remembering Sunday Meaning
Remembering Sunday Lyrics
Starting making his way past 2 in the morning
He hasn't been sober for days
Leaning now into the breeze
Remembering Sunday, he falls to his knees
They had breakfast together
But two eggs don't...

It's about love. And she loves him but she is truly scared of falling in love and when he goes looking for her and asking her to marry him. She commits suicide because she fears that she cant love him like they way she wants.
-
I think its about a guy who spent sunday with this amazing girl they have a one night stand. She moves on but he doesn't and falls madly in love with her. She then realizing her true emotions for him finds out that she loves him too but is too afraid to tell him.
While all this is happening he can't stop thinking about her and why she doesn't love him back... So he decides to drink him self out of the pain. Noticing that doesn't help he goes out to look for her. Asking the neighbors if they have seen this girl... No answer... The girl has apparently moved away, nut the neighbors said that to not upset him beause she really killed herself.
So he finds out and decides to go home, aka suicide because he can't live with her and her home (heaven) he is his home. Yeah that's what I think it's about. Don't really know but great song anyway. -
This song is about a guy [I'll call him Alex] who meets a girl [let's call her Juliet] and the two of them, both drunk, have sex. When Alex wakes up [sober], and realizes that he loves her. He asks Juliet to marry him. She doesn't believe in love, [though she doesn't believe in love, he's determined to call her bluff...] but she still has feelings for him, and this frightens/ confuses her. She moves away. Emotionally distressed from what she has just done and perhaps other issues not mentioned, she kills herself, maybe to be with someone else who died? Alex is depressed, but he comes to realize that everything happens for a reason, and he probably wasn't meant to be with her. He knows that there's someone else out there who is searching for him. He gives up and goes home.
-
I think it's about a girl, who thinks she's only good for a one night stand. Then kills herself. Not realising that he wanted to marry her. He was too late.
-
Okay, here's my take on this. Makes the most sense to me. This guy has a one night stand with this amazing girl on a Sunday. In the morning, she's gone, and he's in love. He falls into depression for a few days and drinks himself into a stupor. Then, after days of sulking, he becomes determined to find her, but he doesn't know anything about her, so he goes from door to door asking about her, but to no avail. Then he finds out she moved away. What he doesn't know is that she moved away because she really cared about him, and knew that she had done something terrible by leading him on because she hadn't been planning on committing, so she left.
-
In the beginning it talks about how he remembers when him & his girlfriend were just at the place he is now not too long ago. And then he is trying to find where she went because he's too drunk to remember. That's why it says "he hasn't been sober in days". The girl doesn't believe in love & settling down, so when he started talking about love she started freaking out so she flew away back home. But towards the end she regrets it and knows she did do something terrible.
-
In my opinion it's about a guy who meets a girl, he falls in love with her, he goes to her house but he finds out she's moved away, he can't get her out of his head so he goes to try and find her, he's spends ages looking for her, he can't get her out of his mind and decides to ask her to marry him, he finds her but it turns out she'd committed suicide a few weeks before due to depression, and if he'd found her a few weeks before he could have saved her, in the end he decides to go home even though it holds no attraction (hence the I GUESS I'll go home now)
-
Alex met a girl at warped tour, and they fell in love, then when warped tour was over, she went home and he bought a plane ticket to see her, and she didn't want anything to do with him.
-
I find it hard to believe that it's about a girl on a plane.. why would she be home in the clouds, and what is so terrible about moving away>
-
This song IS about a boy and girl who fell in love, but he had to move. She got so depressed that she killed herself and when he came back to ask her to marry him she was gone. He asked the neighbors what happened and they said she moved, not wanting to upset him. He then found out later that she killed herself.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

Some of the interpretations were close, but not quite. This song is about the same girl who Vegas is about. This girl didn't move to Russia however, she is someone he's still with now.
She did not pass away, she literally was flying in a plane over his head. He stated that himself in an interview.
I'm too lazy to do it quote by quote but that's the just of it. -
The song actually sounds a whole bunch deeper than it really is. Me being an atl fan and seeing interviews of the band talk about this song, i have found out that isabout him and a girl's relationship but she has to move to russia. I kno it sounds like she died but she didn't. There is an actual interview of alex (the lead singer) saying it was about the girl moving away, not dieing.

The story is that he was seeing this girl from his hometown, but couldn't commit, no matter how much he wanted to, because he was going on tour. He finally came back from tour totally drunk, of course from all of the partying, I'm guessing. "Leaning now into the breeze, remembering Sunday" is a form of a flashback. He's remembering a time with this girl and her teasing him. Anyway, he comes back from his tour and goes to look for her to express his love for her, despite her doubts, but finds her gone. He looks everywhere, asks the neighbors but no one knows where she is. All they know is that she moved. It rained, which is just foreshadowing for "it sucked." The rain (suckiness) is following him as he tries to find his lost love. I'm guessing this means that he finds out some bad things along the way. The girl has done something really really bad, probably having to do with another guy, and feels terrible so she leaves. She doesn't know what she wants at this point and she doesn't understand how he could still care for her. The rain is washing her away so she probably drowned, I'm guessing. Now, she's looking out for him from wherever it is we go from here. He finds out she's dead and goes home. The end. I tried.
