Avenged Sevenfold: The Art Of Subconscious Illusion Meaning
The Art Of Subconscious Illusion Lyrics
The endless torture.
The painless pleasure.
I grasp myself.
Trying to regain control.
I experience and learn.
In another faction of my mind.
So confused.
But everything makes perfect...

A very thoughtful song to undo some psychological damage done that became confusing to a person that seems he is a ''conscientious believer''. Who may feel and think when he was or has been Religiously[spiritually] thaught[programmed] by a Preacher or a religious [cult] leader, feeling like he has been ''raped psycologically'' even though the preaching he received made sense, feeling in a different reality, to make sense within this hard reality that also makes him feel guilty, ashame and angry that he may still be a no good sinner that contradicts and collides with some of his personal deep rooted beliefs to not totally believe ''The Art of Subconscious Illusion'' that has been used on him who took it all in heart and mind that wanted to become a truer believer and has been trying to use the training that he has received on others with some disappointment and discomfort 'cause he doesn't have the heart to try and take anybody else's soul and identity to where he almost lost his to and through ''The Art of Subconscious Illusion'' that left and is still mentally leaving it's bleeding scars on his and our bodies.
