   Likely the intention was a straightforward love song, but as with all music, it can mean many things to many people, including an inspirational ode to Jesus. Also Rumoured to have been written for/about Matt (M Shadow)'s long term girlfriend: Valary Di Benedetto, whom he's been dating since the 6th grade.

   This song I'm pretty sure was written for Val. (I think everyone knows who I'm talking about) pretty much about how she's always there for him no matter what, and despite the bad times they've gone through, they will always love each other. kinda corny my interpretation. but still. very pretty song.
