Song Released: 2010
We Stitch These Wounds Lyrics
Two months it's all the same.
I begged for this man's approval,
Pray to die in vain.
Sit down with thoughts alone now,
With blood these lyrics came.
Your words can eat right through me,
Dead could hear my...

#1 top rated interpretation:In a interveiw, Andy said it was about how everyday we are faced with challenges and at the end of the day we need to 'stitch those wounds' Because the next day we have to go right back into battle again.

ive recently become a pretty big fan of bvb and I've definitely noticed that they seem to have a theme in all of their albums about never giving up which personally, I love about them. That being said, I think We Stitch These Wounds, given the title and the lyrics, is Andy's way of saying "we are going to fix this. We are going to stitch these wounds and keep going no matter how nasty they get". Idk that's just my way of looking at it. I also do agree with some of the people that have said that this song is about Andy's ex cheating on him. There's a lot of evidence that gives that away. That could very well be Andy's perspective on this song but I believe he is also sending the other message I've described
-
This song is about being apart of a constant battle with your mind, and your life. It's saying that the end of everyday, you need to stitch the wounds of that day, because tomorrow, there will just more.
In other words, forget about what happened today, because there's always tomorrow for it to get better.
So basically forget about today, look forward to tomorrow.

Ok so I see none of you 12 year olds know what emo really is. Emo is the abbreviation for emotive rock. A style that started in the 80's. It's characteristics are soft melodies, deep rhythms, and light vocals, along with lyrics that are heavily laced with personal opinions and issues. It wasn't all black. It was actually pastel colors and granny sweaters. What's commonly referred to as "emo" is
A) A form of scene that involves dark colors.
B) post-hardcore punk.
C) metalcore.
D) the cult following of cutters. First documented case was a girl that eventually killed herself and MCR was blamed. Cutting stems from ancient pagan worship. To goth subculture that wanted to strike out. And now leaked to all you little kids as "how to be emo".
But continue on in your ignorance. I'm sure we'll all love seeing YOU on tv some day :D -
we stitch these wounds isnt just about one thing. first of all, its about how everyday we all go thru a battle, but that we must stitch our wounds and move on bcuz there are many more to come. second of all, it mite be about his ex gf ( dont know the history beyond that) and third of all, he may be saying i know u guys try hard, so just remember im along with u and i know how u feel'.
-
Emo is not the kid in the back dressed in black an likes different music and cutts him or herself. Is short for emoshinal. So he can or can not be emo I don't think so because his feelings don't get hurt easly
"We Stich These Wounds" means (and Andy said this himself) that every day some of us or a lot of us go into a battle that leave wounds and scares that you can't not see with the human eye. And evey night after the battle you stich up the wounds andgo to bed. Then in the morning you get up and back into battle. -
This song is about a girl who pretended to love him and cheated on him.
I'm sorry, but whoever cheated on him is a fucking retard. I would die to have someone as hot as him...or as kind, smart, funny, fun, amazing and talented. What the fuck...she is stupid if she's going to cheat on him. I wonder if the person was worth it? Probably not. -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
Theres a chance its about Andy's ex-girlfriend. She cheated on him which could explain the line "I think of it each time I touch you, Or every time I hear his name." But almost all of Black Veil Brides songs hold some meaning of being outcasts.
-
and if you listen to it, he clearly says "with blood these lyrics came." He is Emo but what's wrong with that? The boy in Knives and Pens is Emo, but i don't see why people always have to make a big deal out of it... it's not your business, so stay out of it.
-
i think your thinking of Knives and Pens... there is no video for We Stitch These Wounds, but your interpretation is correct, just for the wrong song.
-
There are two different versions of this song, this is the newer one... I think
-
It's 'off my chest these lyrics came' I think... I have seen and heard it both ways
-
the guy who first commmented got the wrong song. Stitch These Wounds never had a video, you're thinking of Knives And Pens
-
I think some of these lyrics are wrong, but I might be the one wrong. Anyway, maybe he's talking about someone who betrayed him. How they're by themselves and a liar.
-
when it shows the boy walking away in the beggining, notice the church in the background.andy sixx(andrew dennis biersack) went to a catholic school and was made fun of in that school. when the boy who took the jounal took the journal back-notice the kind of pitiful wtf kinof face he is portraying.obviously he read the journal and saw some preeeetty messed up stuff.he then retuned the journal to the boy...or as i call him: 'the actor kid-andy.'its all about getting judged and what he went throgh as a younger boy.like...13.
