   i think that its kinda bout how it started "born from a dream" meaning it started from a dream "On leather wings" their style "Rose from the streets" they began selling their music on the streets
   "With the hands on destiny" so they want to make their own destiny

   I just want to say that I also believe that it's about living ur dream and not letting anyone get in ur way
   Also I noticed that on leather wings is the title of the first episode of the first season of a batman series years ago so I think thats where that came from.

   In my opinion, the song The Legacy means that you should be yourself, And don’t care what people think about. Do what you want in life also, no one can tell you who you are. So if people don’t accept you, and judge you, Well simply don’t care or prove yourself.

   It's saying that you should be yourself. Don't care about what people think about you. Do what you want in life. Also, no one could tell you who you are. Only you could tell yourself who you are. So if people don't accept you and judge you, well simply don't care or PROVE YOURSELF.

   k what i wanted to hear specifically was the 'on leather wings' part, im pretty sure thats some biblical shit about the devil, cause my dad told me about a bat flying into his church while mass is going on, and his dad (my grandfather) whispered to him the same quote, on leather wings, its something about the devil

   Well basically my interpretation of this song was how he wants his band and his message to take over the world and this will fulfill his legacy "we came from nothing But promise one thing,we'll change the world with these guitars". and when he was very young he knew what he wanted to do..(Become a rockstar). "the legacy,born from a dream".
   makes sense.

    I think that basically its a message to other people, teens and kids in particular, to tell them to be who they want to be, and be great at it. Hence the name of the song "The Legacy"

    Um, I read lips and some of the lyrics are wrong I think. Andy's lips don't say "ON leather wings" or "THE handS on destiny" from what I see in the (epic) video.
    ANYHOW... This song does have meaning, it's kind of calling out to the dreamers and saying, "Look, we CAME FROM NOTHING but look where we are now, you can do it too, don't let anybody tell you otherwise." It's truly inspiring to aspiring musicians like me. <3

    Jah, um, I don't think this song has any real purpose, it's just frivolic lyrics, meaningless metaphores. They probably just wanted to make cool sounds, so they had to squeeze some kind of lyrics into it. But then it might be about some kind of Nostradamus-like prediction. I just came here because I couldn't understand "On Leather Wings", but then I saw I could write a main interpretation, and even the first. Now go buy it or something.
