Dark of You Lyrics

It must have been inside my head
I've lost the hope that I have lived
And now, at last, it comes to pass
We sleep, we dream, we have no less

The lyrics seem to explore themes of loss, despair, and the inevitable passage of time. The speaker reflects on the challenges faced in life, acknowledging the struggle to find one's way and the deceptive nature of existence. There's a sense of resignation and acceptance of the harsh realities, with references to weakness, defeat, and the transient nature of human endeavors. The repeated motif of becoming "the dark" suggests a transformation or descent into darker aspects of oneself or the world. Overall, the lyrics convey a complex emotional journey, touching on introspection, mortality, and the struggle to find meaning in a seemingly indifferent world.

It´s about human life being meaningless in the end. We all have big dreams ¨It must have been inside my head¨ but ¨and now the weak that fall, return to ash defeated after all¨. In the end very few of us will achieve our dreams, and that sucks but it´s the way life goes. Not to mention the ¨we live we breathe we ie, we feed we burn we lie¨.
