One of the best songs ever written in my opinion. Severely underrated.
Here are the lyrics;
[Do you know I can never leave you
And no, I can never beat you
And I find that I can never find you
Never mind I will not forget you
Can I stay alive forever?
Can I stay alive forever?
Can I stay alive forever?
Forever?
Can you feel a chemical reaction
Cause I feel a hideous attraction
Could we share a poisoned apple?
Can it be manacle and awful?
Can I stay alive forever?
Can I stay alive forever?
Can I stay alive forever?
Forever?
Forever?
Stay alive forever?
Forever?
Stay alive forever?
Stay alive forever?
Stay alive forever?
Stay alive forever?
Stay alive forever?]
I think in this song the guy has found a woman that makes him feel like he wants to live out life with her as long as he can. The love is intense, so much so that he wants it to last forever. The tone is gentle, giving the impression that this guy is trying his best to be tender with her and that he is massively and completely crushing on her, thus making it a hideous attraction that he can't control.
Everything about this song is beautiful!!!!
