   I think this song is about this guy who dies. As he's dying, he looks at his day like it is regular day. He wakes up, takes a run as he might do on any normal day. The little cave with the blankets in it is his life, which he is looking at while he dies. The kid is his son, the young girl is his wife probably when they first met, the guy in the crown is his dad. In the field, those are all the people in his life and his wife comes crying because she is saying goodbye to him while he's dying. the white lanterns are him going to heaven.

   hes talking about how people cant move on when they lose a loved one because they uselessly moarn.. and it only makes things worse. hes saying that he moves on by occupying himself with something else. then he says in his past he had something mortifying happen but he found a way to move on. but then something else happened. but he still found a way to "keep his eyes fixed on the sun" and that even when the clouds block the view of what is good in the world he can still see the sun. so its basicly about moving on when someone dies.

   This is about a man being reborn and meeting the people that have passed away before him.The man that he sees sitting in the chair is himself, which i don't get. At the end the lady looks like his wife and maybe she tells him she will keep her eyes fixed on the sun.

   A guy looking back on his life, seeing all of his friends and family have died. But he keeps thinking possitive.
   
   Then he has a midlife crisis and asks what he has done with his life
   
   he then has a near death situation or sees something bad happen to another person
   
   He is mugged or something happens by a light post
   
   He dies

   I think its about the band making a choice not to continue making songs like their previous album just to become famous. Instead they choose to follow their artistic desires. A bold move indeed!
