Demi Lovato: For the Love of a Daughter Meaning
Song Released: 2011
For the Love of a Daughter Lyrics
All I could hear was the family war
Your selfish hands always expecting more
Am I your child or just a charity award?
You have a hollowed out heart
But it's heavy in your chest
I try so hard to...
-
Her Father and her had never been close, she has spoken out bout her childhood! She is very strong! And very brave bout writing this song for her father, I guess hoping her father would change, and they would bond and get closer, OR she could be singin bout it just to get it out of her system...make herself feel better bout her childhood! I really pray for her, and I Thank he for this song! It really has baught some kind of Justice!
GOD BLESS YOU ALL -
Everyone already said it, amasing. Relatable. And SOOOOOO GOOD

the song is really good for her to say what she really feels about her dad. i hope her father hears this and understands hoe she feels
-
At the person who posted on october 3, that was her step-dad that she was close to.
-
im honestly confused, because i read that her and her father were really close but they didnt see each other for 4 years because he moved to mexico and had health problems, but then had a reunion.
so i dont know if some of this is fiction or not but i reallllly want to knoow! :/ :P -
woah. this is amazing. it really shows deep down into demis personal life and that is a big thing now that we know what she has been struggling with almost all of her life.
