All the Fools Sailed Away Lyrics

There's perfect harmony
In the rising and the falling of the sea
And as we sail along
I never fail to be astounded by the things we'll do for promises
And a song

We are the innocent
We are the damned
We were caught in the middle of the...

Ronnie himself states (when introducing the song at the Miljoona Rock Festival Finland 2006) that the song is about "people believing all the crap that government tells them, and all the crap people around them tell them. You know what happens to them? All the fools sail away"...

Led like sheep and fed fantasy (fake news)while rejecting truth of the righteous... more relevant now than ever!

    Ronnie knew what was coming....

Some Dio's songs are historical, but I believe what is actually referred to is a metaphor about religion as a whole. Ronnie James Did was someone who believed religion to be a way to enslave people, therefore he had no religion, because of this every one assumed he was either an atheist or a satinist. He was niether he simply believed that there was no religion that was 100% correct and believed that no living man actually knew anything about beyond. The fools referred to are the religious nuts who believe there religion is the only true & correct one.

He's referring to him being a descendant of esau and modern day Caucasian. The bible says Esaus descendants will be enslaved like they enslaved The Lord's people in 1492 and the transatlantic slave trade. They are the innocent they are the damned hunted by the lion n lamb means most Caucasians don't know what's coming to them. Those who led into captivity will go into captivity

As an April Fools birthday girl, I never ever saw this as political but astrological. I see this as All the Fools sailed away, meaning the Gods of War-Aries either prevail or not. A song is what you perceive it to be. -- Dio Never Dies.

this song refers of lucifer fall from heaven, the most high beautiful Angel of all. but sin was found in him, thats why the doors of Heaven's closed on him forever. and sail away into the lake of fire.

A great historic song by Ronnie James Dio, about the times when all of the certain kinds of people were ''selfishly driven'' away from God. As Explorers and Conquerors, along with the Jesuits that went all over new lands and the new world. By which found manipulative ways to trade with the Natives Their Iron and STEEL. Meaning their weapons and tools in exchange for the Natives diamonds and gold. By this continuos exchange, created more greed and war that These Fools would die for, some sadly to be called martyrs

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
