Dio: Invisible Meaning
Invisible Lyrics
-
Awesome song by the one and only Ronnie James Dio, about two young children who were probably being raised under difficult and tough conditions. Maybe abused and tormented somehow throughout life. Either at home by misguided and absent minded parents, Or on the streets by the perverts and mean people living in them neighborhoods. The Protagonist's ''voice'' is saying to the youngsters to just leave. Giving the benefit of doubt of assimilating the earthly life of what Mary and Jesus might have gone through, before and after ''leaving'' for Egypt to become ''Invisible''. Bringing Their experience together in feeling and thought from His[Dio's] personal experience, because He's circle was also broken and had to ''leave and escape'' His Familiar surroundings for a foreign place. And when one does that You become ''Invisible'' to Others, even if You go roaming in the Holy Land[state of Israel]. 'Cause there's nobody there that actually knows who You are to see You. You become a stranger in a strange land. Being with strangers there, You would be ''Invisible'' to them. At times this can be very lonely, actually feeling like You don't even exist as somebody. You may feel You are only a spiritual soul that nobody cannot see.
