Ed Sheeran: Beautiful People Meaning
Song Released: 2019
Beautiful People Lyrics
L.A. on a Saturday night in the summer
Sundown and they all come out
Lamborghinis and their rented Hummers
The party's on, so they're headin' downtown ('Round here)
Everybody's lookin' for a come up
And they wanna...
-
I think this song means that no one is perfect (were are not beautiful people)
-
I think it’s a beautiful song. I wish more people would quit judging others. This world would be a better place with healing peace and blessings. Xoxo #sassysoulmom

In my eyes, beautiful people depicts the truth behind celebrities. They are not just role models and people looking to do their best all the time, but real people. Despite what others claimed, it is not, I repeat Not about how celebrities are ugly and rotting inside, because the interpretation of the word beautiful in the song in not in terms of the celebrities beauty on the outside, but of what made them who they were and what they were expected to do. By saying they weren't beautiful, he was implying that they didn't want to follow the social standards for celebrities and thus felt they weren't worthy, aka beautiful. The song overall gives the sense that we shouldn't keep judging celebrities and people who we think have it all. We are all struggling in our own ways and still all have obstacles we need to overcome. We should accept that they are human and will thus make mistakes and should't expect them to do certain things, whether that be interviews, interacting with fans, or parties. So please, if you're reading this, just be kind and remember that the meaning of every song is up to you.

Yeah tho, beautiful people as he said is about those celebrities who we think are the greatest, most fashionable, kindest etc but are not really all we think them to be.
Yes,to us,they might be beautiful outwardly, but deep inside they are broken and☺ not what we think at all. -
What does he mean by “we are not beautiful”
I though Ed Sheeran wasn’t like that -
I feel like we lost the meaning to the word "Beautiful" there is no Beautiful because "pretty" people are sometimes ugly inside and "ugly" people beautiful inside but if you read this be beautiful on both sides please
-
I think he's saying that all those beautiful celebs are really ugly and rotting on the inside.
Beautiful people
Drop top, designer clothes
Front row at fashion shows
"What d'you do?" And, "Who d'you know?"
Inside the world of beautiful people
Champagne and rolled-up notes
Prenups and broken homes
Surrounded, but still alone
Let's leave the party
Here he's saying that all these people are rich and famous and all that in a tater pie.
That's not who we are
(we are, we are, we are)
We are not beautiful
Yeah, that's not who we are
(we are, we are, we are)
We are not beautiful
Now he's like "yeah, no", we're not beautiful, we're ugly.
-
They want you to be happy with only yourself and nobody else.
-
He is saying that he and his lover are not beautiful people and they are satisfied of who they are now
-
Ed Sheeran describes people who are rich, but unhappy. Being empty despite partying every Friday, specifically in LA
He describes how him and his lover don’t feel like they fit in in such atmospheres.
