Fleetwood Mac: Love in Store Meaning
Song Released: 1982
Love in Store Lyrics
-
I like how this song is performed, with the two girls (Christine and Stevie) being featured.
For me, the meaning in this song is realising that another person loves you and you don't ever want them to go away or leave you ('...we've got love in store. Never take your love away. Begging you baby, never take your love away...')
You also realise how fond you have become of this other person and, it may frighten you to realise that, suddenly, you kind of depend on another for total happiness and satisfaction ('You're the only one I've ever felt, could be special to me. You look at me and I just melt, I'm scared of feeling that way. Can't fight it anymore...')
I feel the lyrics are descriptive enough to apply to love in general but, I'd almost like to think that Christine and Stevie are singing about specific 'someone's' Again, I just love the whole, positive vibe of the song. xx :)
