A mystery. A mix of bad and good. Bad - clear his throat could be insulting regarding the 7th son who some think is Joseph from the bible. Good - Send in the congregation. Step into the light. Open your eyes. Where is your blind faith? seems to be sarcastic, then positive. The part about Tallahatchie and other Native American references could be about the recent successes many have had. The first times I heard this song I could feel a certain amount of spirituality and positivity.
