   Manipulative- can't commit so he loves, but makes u hate him..it's complicating him... That's why he's alone. I'm guessing he's aware of this shit and keeps doing it.

   The first line that caught my attention was: "Don't bury me as I am begging for my life". I had a student that was a victim of child abuse. His step mother killed him. There are so many things in this song that could relate to his life. So my interpretation is that this song is about child abuse. Also, in Sully's autobiography, he talks about how he was a victim of abuse when he was dating a drug addict. It can be about abuse in general.

   in this life im me- means he is rich rockstar and he believe in past lives in which he had a true love or at least he feels like he had this girl who he wants to be with now. but hes stuck living the rockstar life and hes has hurt people before. so he wasnt able to acually tell her he was there for her when she asked him to save her from her own problems...he is scared. love hate sex and pain are what makes him scared and confused its literal. but then he says dont you leave me because he has some faith she can help him through his fears and

   The first line of this song says that this guy is alone in life and that he is in love with someone but is not with that girl. I am guessing that he is having sex with someone but it is just sex. Love for the girl he is in love with hate because she left him sex because well, sex and pain because it hurts him emotionally to have sex with someone besides that love of his life. With him saying that it is complicating him sometimes and that it is underestimated lies only tells me that he is confused about life.
