One small step for man, one giant leap for man*cuts off*
Does the moon actually possess such strange powers?
Or is it all...

Oh wow y'all's theories are interesting but the song is really about him singing to the werewolf side of himself and vice versa. Has not a thing to do with drugs lmao. Show us where some people's minds truly are... Hey drugs are illegal and bad for a reason... Stop doing them

The song is obviously about an astronaut who spent significant time on the moon, and is longing to return. He's craving to be on the moon with his girlfriend. (She's probably a NASA scientist.) He feels pain every day because he is re-adapting to earth's gravity, and coping with the loss of muscle mass from his time on the moon.

This was Erna and the boys song about their experience with Heroin. Prior to their breakout into the mainstream the band members got caught up in the drug and it almost ended them before they got successful.

I got dumped by my soulmate, a man I'm madly in love with. For me this song describes how I still feel after 6 months..."let's take a blast to the moon baby"-:sex was outta this world. "I sit around wishing u well"- want what's good for you...how I'm craving you, every time I'm near you I always want to swallow you down. I'll be right here if you need me, in my life I'll need you here don't ask why I'll never disappear"- I love you so much I crave you endlessly, I will forever engrave myself in your heart.." Why is it everyday I feel the pain " - even though its been awhile that we broke up I still feel the same intense pain that I felt the first day.will it ever ease. Will my head ever ease on the madness that my heart has created..

i think this song is about getting high, and being controlled by the drug. Taking a blast to the moon sounds like taking a hit. My pain is caused by my pleasure is the fact of being sick with out the drug, why is it every day that i feel the pain, meaning he is suffering every day with out the drug till he gets it. I believe this song is about drug addiction.
