Coming Undone wit It Lyrics
When my brain's tickin' like a bomb
Guess the black thoughts have come Again to get me
Sweet bitter words
Unlike nothing I have heard
Sing along mocking bird
You don't affect me
That's right
Deliverance of my heart
Be...

coming un done is about when your life goes to hell and you feel confused like every thing is falling apart. when we found out that my stepdad raped my little sisters last year i coudn't think straight. all i knew was that i was going to kill him in the most brutal way possible. i know that feeling.
than u jonathan -
I think this song is about killing yourself. he says "since I was young ive tasted sorrow on the toung, but its sweet sugar gun does not protect me. this is saying that even though he has experienced alot of sadness is doesnt make sadness any easier to deal with. He also says " thats right, trigger in between my eyes, please strike, make it quick now." the trigger means Death and he is encouraging it. the line "What looks so strong so delicate" means that he can hide his suicidal thoughts and noone else will know his troubles. Awesome song anyway

This is just my interpretation.. So take it as you want it.
"Keep holding on
When my brain's tickin' like a bomb
Guess the black thoughts have come Again to get me"
As most of you said it's about losing control of himself.
Trying to keep his thoughts together while paranoia rears its head.
"Sweet bitter words
Unlike nothing I have heard "
Suspecting that someones opinions and words have double meaning..That it sounds friendly but is in fact hostile or demeaning.
Real problem being that he cannot be sure which meaning is real.
"Sing along mocking bird
You don't affect me "
Unable to deal with words with double meaning he decides to ignore them. Not let them effect his opinion.
"That's right
Deliverance of my heart
Be straight
Be deliberate "
Saying that he is giving out his emotions, giving a warning to be straightforward.no double meanings. and to be carefull with your words.
the chorus is talking about him opening himself and his feelings(coming undone)the tone of the song and the words tell you that it is something very hard for him to do.The outside appearance of strenght of character indiference to outside opinion is false. The inside is delicate and words affect him greatly.Enough to suffocate and try to stop in coming undone.
"Choke choke again
I thought my demons were my friends
Getting me in the end
They're out to get me"
Connected to the chorus I think it means trying to open to someone but realising that some people who he considered friends prove otherwise in delicate times. So he chokes all those feelings back. The whole song is saying that the burst is inevitable. but he is keeping it for someone else.
"Since I was young
I've tasted sorrow on my tongue
And this sweet sugar gun
Does not protect me "
That event of betrayal happened while he was young and the denial and strong shell he created (sweet sugar gun) is just a temporary solution.
"That's right
Trigger between my eyes
Please strike
Make it quick now "
He needs to let it out fast, can't take it anymore.
"chorus"
Expresing that he cannot keep it together much longer. He needs to come undone.
"I'm trying to hold it together
Head is lighter than a feather
Looks like I'm not getting better
Not getting better "
Having doubts about it.Not knowing if he should go all the way or keep going as he was.But that way he won't get any better.
The song ends with the chorus.Opening up in the end for better or for worse. -
First I would like to say to the person who talked about the sex slave thing, you sir, are a moron of the highest caliber, how you got "sex slave" out of a song about a person clearly going insane, is beyond me, the song is about him being in a world of shit while he was a child and how things arent exactly looking up for him now, like in freak on a leash, that's about him being screwed over by the music industry, coming undone is about him tryin to not go insane, which him fighting a losing battle, he's slowly losing his grip on sanity despite how hard he's tryin not to
-
Hes going insane he's coming undone

I think this song is about overcoming drug abuse and the battle that rages inside people when they are addicted to a substance, but are trying to stop.
"I thought my demons were my friends." -
I think the whole I always thought demons were my friends line was like how he was able to take his horrible childhood and put it into song for rock hits but then the kids & teenagers that listen to koRns lyrics freak out and are all theyre advocating rape drugs violence and "devil worshipping" when really they don't look deep enoguh into it and it pisses him the fuck off
-
I think you're mostly right except that it's not necessarily about Jonathan specifically
-
What he is saying is, that though he seems strong he is actually delicate. Hence why he says, "What looks so strong so delicate"
"Keep holding on when my brains ticking like a bomb against the black thoughts.."
As in he holds it all in even though he wants to explode
And he is slowly coming undone and due to him being delicate he might just explode, but he is trying to hold it together.
Like he also says, his friends are really his demons -
