Lady Gaga: Just Dance Meaning
Song Released: 2008
Just Dance Lyrics
GaGa, oh-oh, eh
I've had a little bit too much, much
All of the people start to rush, start to rush by
How does he twist the dance? Can't find a drink, oh man
Where are my keys? I lost my phone, phone
What's going on on...
-
I think this song is very cool and it says, technology, but I used that song to sing and dance. Everytime I danced!
I used to have recording studio, at London. We’ve got an studio between here, the shopping mall is next to it. -
First of all, Just Dance is an up-beat pop song, and now, I have done tons of research. The song is mostly about getting high to forget all of yor problems. This explains "starts to rush by" and "where are my keys, I lost my phone."
-
This song is obviously about coaching yourself through taking too much mdma, hense: just keep dancing and all worries will go away.
-
Actually she has said before it is about having ex when you drunk/on drugs. "Just Dance gonna be okay." " Control your poison babe, roses have thorns they say"
-
Only 1 person got it right. It's not about forgetting your problems. It's about being high as F on club drugs and coaching herself through the paranoia.
It the first stanza it tells it all. Had a little bit too much.. all the people start to rush by (visual effects of being high)
Can't find a drink - (she's thirsty because thats how ex makes you feel)
Where are my keys/phone - (losing her stuff cause she just too high to know)
Then later, howd her shirt get inside out? (didn't even know she took it off at some point)
All of that, and the repeating chorus of just dance.. just coaching herself. like.. you can do it, just get up and dance it off. lost my stuff, oh well, just keep dancing. forget everything, just dance.
Then she spends her last dough in her pocko.. she's broke after a long night of partying and losing her stuff.
Come on people. This is a totally classic and typical club scene experience. -
It's about not worrying who you are or how you are; just dancing and making all those STUPID, OVERRATED worries go bye-bye.
Of course, this might be wrong. How am I supposed to know? I'm just 10 and a half. -
this is the first song that I heard after deciding to get divorced. As a musician, I felt that this song helped me in reminding me that I still have my goals through music and despite the obstacles in life that we all go through, our goals can be achieved through just...doing what each of us were meant to do and for myself, its to just rock out or "dance" in her perspective. "gonna be ok" just do what your heart tells you cause no matter how bad it gets, its gonna be ok ;)
-
Really? Are you that stupid to not understand what the song means? The title says it all! There aren't any hidden lyrics!
Just Dance
Gonna be okay!
Doodoodoo
Just Dance
Play that record babe
Just Dance! It's going to be okay!Just play the record! Forget about all your problems, just have fun, and dance! It's a great song. -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

Having fun, Drinking wine, partys, and ... Have more fun!
-
It means you can forget a lot and move on from your problems... One way is to let loose dancing
-
Just keep on having fun and you will get over your problems and life will go on.
-
its about being in a club and on drugs (pills, mdma whatevs)having "a little bit too much" gettin slighty paranoid whether your gonna be ok or not. these are the nights you lose wallet phone etc, fell better when you just dance and dont think. just dance gonna be ok
