   The song is definitely about being inlove with "the one" and how you are drawn to them no matter what. It also shows the different sides of her in the relationship and what was "controlled", "silenced", and "nurtured". You see this in all the different ways she expresses herself. After leaving, she comes back with a newfound stronger self that is whole again, to the one she loves still.

   The "cool Nebraska guy" is her on again/off again (currently ex) boyfriend, Luc Carl from Nebraska of course. He is a club owner that she hooked up with before her "chase" to stardom. I believe they broke up after she made it big w/her first album and after "2 years" of separation, they reunited and he was by her side again before Born This Way was released. They are now broken up and perhaps they get together again. This song is just so bittersweet and sung w/Gaga soul. Tells the story of a simple girl still in love. Maybe Gaga tends to go back to Luc Carl because he was around before her fame and keeps her grounded. But she is larger than life right now--love will surely come her way. Gaga, go on with your bad self!!!!

   This song is nothing more than Gaga's ability to be smarter than most people and to make money. She knew a country song about "Insert State Here", trucks, and Jesus Christ would be huge and that people would listen...even those that typically don't like her. She has said that she will do whatever it takes to be on top, and that most stars are too lazy to compete with her. She is talented and is only trying to prove that she can sell anything.

    this song is about she is still in love with a guy but probably he doesn't love her actually because He wanted changed her defects so she wasn't the perfect girl He was looking for.
    
    despite she is coming back to try of rebuilt their relationship He is not interested on engagement like is her dream... anyway He think is her big love, the one who she dreamed to marry ... the most important person after christ and her father but first she should learn to love herself to identify well that person...

    The actual lyrics do say nebraska unfortunately from state to state they change the lyrics. But I am a girl from nebraska and I do not think she would have filmed the video in Luc's hometown of springfield, Nebraska if it was about West Virginia.

    It's all about going back to anyone or anything in your life that means something to you, and Nebraska is the center of all that. It's all about capturing the true spirit of this song, that when you're in love, you will be willing to walk and do the craziest and inconvenience things that you could have possibly imagine. The video is quite complex, in the way the story is told, it is meant to be slightly confusing, which is the way love is.
