Lady Gaga: Million Reasons Meaning
Song Released: 2016
Million Reasons Lyrics
You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show
You're givin' me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons
If I had a highway, I...
-
I believe "Million Reasons" is about Lady Gaga being tired of fame, and looking to seek forgiveness from god. For example, through the video she is seen putting a rosary close to her breast. Perhaps she feels regret for herself. Obviously, she had been going to some tough times. Also take in note the lyrics: you're giving me a million reasons to quit the show. Maybe she is tired of this. Also, throughout the song she is talking about running away. I believe that she is tired of fame, and is seeking forgiveness with this song.
That is only my interpretation. -
It is based on a true story. She broke up with her love and I guess because he wasn’t good enough for her.
-
I believe it has something to deal with suicide and faith. Throughout the song she is continuously question god and her faith because she has been through so many hardships that she just wants to quit on life. There is no good reason to be alive but if god would just reach out and give her one she wouldn’t end it all. “You’re giving me a reason to quit the show” asks god that the overwhelming things going on make her want to end it all. Throughout the song she talks to god, but he never responds, so she ends up losing faith in religion and in herself, life.
-
I think she is singing about her sister not leaving her through her difficult times with men. At the start she has that small box with a rosary in it and her hugging several women.
-
I think this project looked better, because this chapter of my life, and to other people seemed to be a lot of words from the Lord’s Prayer. Then the Bible tells me, to read everyday, and find my devotionals and find pictures of Nathan. And what he did very special with me. I missed him?
-
I think this song is about giving your heart a break. Sometimes when we had something to say! Then. We should
And sometimes when speak out very clearly and say about those people to between million reason to stay with god to worship and Todd preached me to tell the people and connections to peoples hearts, and open them our life, and sometimes when I spend time with Rebecca! -
I think my sweet and loving friends, Christian, and Elijah, they loved me. But, they reach out with me. Then Jillian is a smart, and very beautiful girl, she’s beside me, I love her so much.
-
I think million reasons is a ballad but, it’s a sweet message to my dad. Because I miss him.
-
You're giving me a million reasons to let you go
You're giving me a million reasons to quit the show
You're givin' me a million reasons
Give me a million reasons
Givin' me a million reasons
About a million reasons
If I had a highway, I... -
I think it’s about the industry and fame and how the cons outweigh the pros in her situation but the passion she has for her music wouldn’t be the same if she wasn’t in that place and that’s the main reason she stays doing what she’s doing.
-
She wanted to leave the music industry but someone is keeping her there, & she probably misses the true God Jesus Christ. It could also mean other things that happened in her life.
-
it talks about God. she want to come back and believe to him again. she have a million reason why she left. only lady gaga can find out and can ans. you just have to believe.
-
From my perspective, the song deals with sexuality and trying to hang onto religion because of your religions possible opposition to your sexuality
-
I see this song speaking directly to life about thoughts of suicide. Life may give a million reasons to "quit the show," but only one reason to stay [alive] is worth it to keep going.
-
For me, she is questioning why God didn't help her during those trials. It is not about her boyfriend or etc., it is God she questioned.
