i think his gilrfriend died from a car accident were she crashed into a lemon tree. The lemon tree reminds him of her death. and he is sad and lonely waiting for her

I really appreciate this song
To my mind this song is about a man who waits all his life for something or somebody.
His life is dull and he drives around with his car or sits lonely in his room waiting for something to happen.
What is also worth mentioning is that the so called lemon tree means that he searches for somebody or something but whenever he turns around he just sees another lemon tree and not that person or thing he really wants to see
It's just another lemon tree
There is nothing really happening in his life and he asks hisself desperately what he should do.
He also looks up to the sky very often(yesterday I found the blue blue blue sky), but all he can see is just another lemon tree and not what he is searching for
