   I can relate with this song when I was in high school I had a friend that I cared about so much that I started to develop a crush on her and one day I wanted to tell her how I felt but it was already too late she liked someone else I never thought that heartbreak could hurt some much but I've moved on now and I'm happy but the song is about trying to that person that you liked them and one day you find out that they like someone else

    I think it's about a boy who liked a girl. But she doesn't no so then another boy asked her out and they start dating. Then the boy that likes the girl is upset cuz he like that girl but he never got the courage to ask her out.     I imagine the boy and the girl as being close friends for a long time. He's always had a crush on her, and she felt the same way for a while but then gave up. She gets a boyfriend and tells him, and he wishes that he had told her that he loved her because it was too late. :/
