Paramore: 7 Years in the Making Meaning
7 Years in the Making Lyrics
Where everybody wins
'Cause I've lost all my friends
Since they got brand new eyes
They don't look at me the same
It's anyone's guess where I went wrong
Now I'm the only one
Who's thinking back
Seven years...
-
Yes it's about the story of Paramore (if we go back to 2009 when the song was written, it's been about 7 years since the band started) Originally this song was intented to be put into the setlist of their lastest album Brand New Eyes (we can see its name is picked from the 4th line). We can feel quite alot the tensions within the band at the time of the making of the album, especially when Hayley says "i'm carrying bricks around my neck", which means to me that Hayley felt like the guys put the blame on her when the whole band encountered difficulties.
-sorry if my english isn't flawless, i'm not a native english speaker ;) -
I think its about the past seven years that paramore has been together. and about everything that was happening and whats there now.

There is actually no lyrics to this song, and it's very hard to find on the internet, so don't kill yourself looking for it
