Penelope Scott: Lukewarm Meaning
Lukewarm Lyrics
And scratch your cheek real slow
Draw blood, taste water
And drink it there's no more
Throw a punch watch it sail through the air
Keep talking but there's nobody there
Can't remember anything that you...

It might be about an aspect of depression, more precisely about the monoty of life. Scott notes that she has become numb, not much more than a machine(the Turing test is a test to determine if a machine is able to answer a question like a human being). She wishes for something to take her out of her boring life, give it some spice, like the threat of dying next year (I'd die at 22 to feel alive at 21).

This song is just about what depression feels like. The feeling that everything is just lukewarm and stale, and that nothing really brings out any emotion in you anymore. You're not happy, not sad, just numb.
