   I realized that he was talking about pride, that it is under our skins and we cannot see that part the transmission the first verse. He talks about how his best option to avoid that is 'running away' when it comes to letting go and forgetting 'My best defense, running away from you (it costs me everything)'. And boom in the chorus again stresses that he surrenders to what is inside saying «I would give you everything; Letting go. Thus acknowledging that all this is over and love returns to restore everything, nothing was lost, nothing will be lost. And on the bridge he says once again that this person is what he wants to achieve, surrendering to his Self, offering his soul, to let him know that all the bad is over. That is a message of love, although it is actually a Christian letter, and it is addressed from the singer to Jesus. And maybe I will not mention it, but by watching the official video clip you understand the situation, there are some lianas that catch you because you did not want to deny yourself so that everything flows again.

   This song is about how God takes care of us once we turn our sinful ways over to him. In the verse, it is talking about how the life he used to live is suffocating him and holding him back, and the chorus is him talking about how God has already taken care of his past life's problems.
