Wasting Time Lyrics
You found me here, waiting for your chance
You would reach inside and take all of me

"Wasting Time" is about a Christian who is coming face-to-face with the temptations Lucifer offers them after they've accepted their salvation.
"You found me here, waiting for your chance/You would reach inside and take all of me/You watch your lies smother me again/But now you can't!" The first verse exemplifies what I mentioned above; the lyricist is talking directly to Lucifer, telling him that although he attacks during the lyricist's lowest points, he has no power over the lyricist.
The chorus just reiterates this, by telling how the lyricist intends to never back down and to fight through anything that Lucifer presents to him.
The bridge ("Go ahead and try to stop me/Go ahead and try to stop me/Go ahead and try to stop me/Go ahead and try!/Go ahead and try!") is the lyricist's dare to Lucifer to try and keep him from turning away, from walking to God.
