   You have to remember that Sam is gay, so this song is most likely about him knowing that his partner was cheating on him (the cheater not aware he knows), but he (Sam) still welcomes him in because he still loves him

   If you really love your wife and you are genuinely sorry for being unfaithful and you really want to be with her instead of being with the other woman. It's possible that your wife will forgive you and you guys can save your marriage. I think it's not too late. Remember that marriage is not a joke and it's not only a contract but a commitment to each other. A commitment and a vow to God, if you guys believe in a Supreme Being. To love is to be faithful and loyal to your spouse. Fidelity is essential. Communication, Trust, Respect, and Unconditional love will make your marriage work. But!    There is a housewife, in a time period that resembles the 40's or 30's. She is a housewife, therefore she found herself dependant her partner, despite the nagging suspicion that he is cheating on her (Which turned out to be right) . She then resorted to alcoholism, her husband was constantly leaving and a scene of her destroying his property represented anger and sadness, and the husband wasn't home which represents that he doesn't know.

    They've married and made a vow to not be unfaithful but it's clear he knows she's cheating.
