Taylor Swift - Fifteen Meaning
Song Released: 2009
Fifteen Lyrics
and you walk through the doors
it's the morning of your very first day
You say Hi to your friends
you aint seen in a while
try and stay out of everybody's way
It's your freshman year
and you're gonna be here...

I bleivive this song is about people looking back at
what they thought was important when they were fifteen
but found as they grew older (matured) those things weren't
as important as they thought they were. -
It's quite obvious that this song is about been young and naive in high school. She explains that there's more out there than "dating the boy on the football team". Everyone who listens to this song is like, "she's so right!". Partly, yes, she is. But what I believe is that we're kids, we should be able to have a little bit of fun before facing adulthood. Of course, making Abigail's "mistake" is not what I'm implying. I'm just saying that although we shouldn't thing life revolves around popularity and attractive boys, we should still have fun before we go head-on into adulthood.

It's basically taylor singing about how at fifteen you don't know who you are and everything feels like life or death. It's very inspiring because I am fifteen. It's like a warning to all young teens everywhere - not just girls but boys as well.
