Three Days Grace: Take Me Under Meaning
Take Me Under Lyrics
All my dreams are not worth saving
I've done my share of waiting
And I've still got no where else to go
So I wait for you to
Take me all the way
Take me all the way
Seems you're wanting me to stay
But my dreams would...

#1 top rated interpretation:To me, in my life, this song means: my girlfriend dumped me, but was still attached to me, so when she tried to get to another guy, she had no where to go, so she came back to me. I have no where to go, so I'm still with her, even though everyone tells me my life would be better without her, and I know its true too, cuz she'll ruin my dreams, but I have no where to go. Even tho she's with me, were not technically dating, and if were supposed to do this, I want her to take it all the way.

For me, this song seems like a dialogue between two people who love each other. One person has to stay somewhere because they have to, and the other must leave. This seems like they're waiting for one another to say how they really feel and actually get together, "Take me all the way" seeming to refer to the relationship. It seems as if they're not officially together, but they love each other and now they have to part ways. This song can be interpreted several different ways, so this is definitely not a fully accurate depiction of the song's intended meaning.

I think this song is about someone who chose a certain path of life and didn't get the rewards they wanted and now they regret it but they dont have a second chance to fix their life because they are now dying.

I think this song is about the life that a person chose to lead and he expected somthing great but in return he got despair instead and he wants out

I think it's about sex. or "making love". Whatever. "Take me all the way".

I agree that it's very negative in nature. I think it's just about being in a very dark place (emotionally) and just wanting someone to kill him. Actually that "someone" was probably someone who really hurt him. I'm thinking that "now it seems you're leaving/ but we've only just begun/ and you've got nowhere else to go/ so I wait for you to take me all the way/ take me all the way" translates to something like, You're leaving me without really getting to know me, and what's more you have no one else but me. Then it goes to"take me under..." because of that verse. He feels so worthless because of this person. The first verse just talks about how unneccesary it is for him to stay alive because he's got nothing to live for. Huh. Such a depressing song...
